In the past lessons i have leart about what makes a good life having lots of material things or non matierial things and if you have lots of matierial things if something really bad happens would it actualy mean anything to have all those matierial things. I also leart about the suffering in ethiopia because of the drout and without water non of the crops could grow so the people had nothing to eat and they were starving and at nights there were really cold so all they wanted was basic things such as food water and cloaths so i have leart non of the matierial things truely matter to a good life but can help.A good life mostly depends on how you live it and how you help others live it. I think our RE lesson are usually fun and enjoy able. I have learnt about the effects of Poverty and how other religions view Poverty.
The lessons are very creative and interesting.

I have learnt that our lessons are fun and i think poverty is something we need to care about from my point of view.

I have learnt that to have a good life you have to think about other people and how you could help them without compromising the quality of your own life! Life is not all about material objects...it revolves most around basic needs...food, water, family and shelter. Other things can be put aside if it is to help someone in need because while we are living a good life with complaints, people are living without food and water!

I think the topic that we have learnt about is very interesting because I have realised that there are a lot of people suffering in the world but not everybody wants to help and that materials objects are not as important as other things. Sofia 9a
In the past few lessons while we've been learning about what make a good life i've learnt about different kinds of suffering and why, what other peoples opinions are about what makes there life good too. I've enjoyed the acivity we did last lesson because it helped me learn about suffering and different types and why some people suffer in a lot of different ways.

In the past few lessons I have laernt about materialism and poverty. We have also viewed different people's views on both poverty and materialism. From my personal point of view, I think to have a good life you only need food, water and shelter. We do not realise that the poor out in the world do not value expensize things such as ipod, but only want our help! I really enjoyed the past few lessons especially the creating a poster lesson, which I really enjoyed as I love being creative.
