Controlling the Global Media

What controls should there be on the internet? Should comments on Twitter about terrorism be taken seriously? Is there enough support for parents who want to protect their children from harmful content on the web? Should file sharing sites like You Tube do more to regulate content? Is it OK for newspapers to reprint stories which appear on the internet as (potentially damaging) rumours?

Who should make decisions about what we see on the web? Britain’s Internet Watch Foundation, has the power to block offensive or potentially illegal websites; do you think there should be more controls than there are? As the Leveson enquiry continues to discuss the behaviour of the media, watch the clips and post your comments about what controls we should have on the internet.
