Revising Galen

Year 10 History students have created freeze frames to highlight the medical achievements of Claudius Galen. Which picture shows the most features of Galen's work? Has anything been missed by the pictures? How many features can you spot?

I think that the picture that shows the most of Galen's work is Conor's groups picture, because it shows the Galen books , dissection of the pig and how Galen thought that we were the same to pigs even though our jaws aren't, the four humours opposites, the church and a ape/monkey. I don't think that they have missed anything out in their picture.

The first picture of Conor was in my opinion the best of Galen because it showed many aspects of him including Galens books, his love of dissecting animals and primates, how the church supported his ideas, the four humours and the theory of opposites and the many books written by Galen.

I think thaat the picture of connor holding some books shows some aspects of Galens work. The reason I would say this is because, the books represent Galens research and some of the books he had published to show information he had gathered.

I think that the best image is the first image because it clearly shows the different things Galen believed and found out.
I do not think that anything has been missed out.
