In my opinion, 'ROSIE'S SUCCESS TO BECOME AN ART TEACHER' to me is the best poster made from Year 8. Rosie has already demonstrated her imagination on the poster by making a wheel that can be turned around to see what she has wrote step-by-step. The idea was very well thought of and she was the only person from all the pictures that were shown to be the most creative and well thought of. The use of different colors were contrasting together and the writing fitted perfectly under the wheel. Another thing that she included was that she made sure that her wheel was inspired by the actual wheel of the Buddhists, the 8-fold path. Rosie has done very well on her poster, making sure that she has spent time on it clearly even when looking at it. Unlike many others, Rosie has made hers very simple and plain instead of flashing colors and unnecessary pictures, making her poster look very appropriate and attractive.

I think the 5th poster is the best, as it is very easy to use and get's straight to the point. Another good point about that one is that it is different to all of the other ones. What makes it different is the wheel; the wheel make the poster look more unique and also draws you in a lot more than just a plain poster. One of the down sides to this poster is that there isn't much around the wheel. This does make the poster look a little bit plain, but with more time this could defiantly be improved on.

I think the best one is the last one by Beth in 8B where she wants to become a doctor I think this because she has used transportation for her steps I think this is a good idea and creative idea because not many people would have thought of doing it and also it shows a good way of getting to her goal of what she wants to be when she's older. I also think this is a good way of showing your goal by adding lots of colours to make it stand out and beth has also put arrows showing which step is next so you know which part to read next
she has also put underneath her drawings how she is going to achive it so she knows what to do to get to each step. The one thing Beth could improve on would be maybe putting some steps before other because I thought that some steps were a bit mixed up.

I think the best poster was the performing arts one by Emma Brice. I think this is a good one because it shows her steps clearly and also is very well presented. It is one of the neatest ones from the ones that were shown and was the one that caught my eye. It is just like the 8 foldpath but instead the goal is to be in the performing arts industry instead of reaching enlightenment.

The reason i think this is because of the wheel manly. It gives the idea of going in a cycle to achieve something. Very creative and very different.

I think that Bethany Smith in 8B has done the best. This is beacause on her drawing to become a doctor she has shown that at first it is easy to complete things but then it gets harder. This is very good because some of the bhudda's teachings were more harder than others and beth has shown tha too.

The eight fold path has clearly influenced Emma in her work. I think she has shown her ability in her learning. The best poster was "MY GOAL TO BECOME A DENTIST" by Sabbah 8B (B is for best), Because it was clear on what she wanted to be and lots of time and effort was put into it.Also she showed a variety of different things that she need in order to become a dentist, with writing at a appropriate size for everyone to see, that stood out and contrasted with the white background (obviously!)and used a variety of different language devices suitable for her target audience (which was a chatty one!)which is why i think this poster was clearly the one that stood out most.

I am voting for the ‘army’ poster because, I can see that the person has set out the steps in a clear format, and they have well thought it through-they have included pictures from the computer, this shows they have put in lots of effort and time. (I think they have already taken into count the steps to becoming part of the army, ‘Put 100% effort into everything I do!!) Also, showing effort, they have taken time to research the steps of becoming part of the army:
‘Right concentration’-Be focused even through tough times (this is also linked to the Buddha’s 8 fold path -right concentration and so is right mindfulness)
‘Achieve 5 G.C.S.E’s’- they know the qualifications needed to become an army member.
‘Get fitter’-you need to be fit to be a part of the army!!
I think this person is an amazing part of society as, the dream to be part of the army is thinking of others as well as themselves! Thus, this person is just like the Buddha as they are thinking of ways to become a kind-hearted, thoughtful person that cares about others and protecting them. I hope this person can, like the Buddha, share their teachings with others, helping people to become better people.

In my personal opinion, my favourite was 'Rosie's - to become an art teacher’. I chose this as I think out of them all it was very creative and unique. Its originality made it stand out from the others and caught my attention straight away. Her colour choice is simple yet effective and it works well with her chosen artistic style. Her poster is also easy to understand as she has included arrows. I think this relates to the Buddhism topic well as it gives clear ordered steps (I know this as I have seen it in class) this is important because she need to know exactly what to do. I this is a great target for Rosie to aim for as her art work is of a terrific standard and she always tries hard.
The only target I would give would be to maybe change the green to a blue however it still looks amazing with green!!!!!!!!!!

I think 'Rosies success to become an art teacher' is the best poster in my opinion. I think this because it is linked to the buddha in many ways. One way is the wheel is like the eighthfold path because it has eight different steps to success,like the eighthfold path does to reach enlightenment. It is also like the eighthfoldpath because the wheel on rosies poster is like the symbol for the eighthfold path because that is a wheel. The poster looks like it has taken alot of effort to produce, like the buddha has used alot of effort to create his teachings, the four noble truths, and the eighthfold path etc. I also like the way rosie has created a wheel which is different to any other of the posters, just like buddhism is unique and not like any other religions.
