Medieval....?

What label would you give to ‘Medieval Times’? Year 7 have successfully completed a year’s investigation into life between 1066-1500. Having investigated England’s links to Arabia, and remembering the work from Terms 1 and 2 on who was the most powerful king, they are now ready to give their final judgements on the whole 400 years. This clip about a medieval kiln (like a big oven for making building materials) being found recently in Yorkshire might inspire them. Year 7, post your comments on what label you would give to Medieval times now. Earlier in the year you considered labelling the whole time period ‘Muck and Misery’! Tell us what you’d call it now, and why!

i would change muck and misery to ... dirt & discust, because its a connotation of the origianl title, additionally, the words used are easily understood & are common. I think saladin was a good leader because he was very confident in his job, he ruled the people fairly & such as her gave many people land, so that they could live there and make crops & food, for everyone. Saladin had an army which made him powerful. Above are the reasons for my points.
